Is there a way to search for people within x miles of a zip code? Is it possible to browse people by city, gender, and age? Maybe it's so simple that i'm staring right at it but missing it, but I simply cannot figure it out how to easily find local girls on facebook.

Else type in a random name and then see your results. Generally it brings up girls in your area, or girls that have mutual friends. Check them out.
You can refine your search by typing in the specific town you live in.
That's the only way I know.

But if you get to a situation you have to do that, well, you may be going overboard..
