I've knew girl a little bit in high school. Well she got my number off facebook and has been texting me a little here and there. Well we was suppose to go have a drink and catch up ( or so i thought) well i got busy and we never went well shes been texting me everyday just seeing whats up. Normally she texts me right when she wakes up. Well yesterday she said so when are we going out? I said well my truck is in the shop.(which is embarrassing i know but shit happens) She said well i will pick you up. She used caps and said WHEN DO YOU TO GO OUT??? I said what about saturday she cool. Well every saturday i go out to eat with a group of my friends and i told her she is welcome to come if she likes and we can go out after. She said Yea i wanna go. So i said alright. Well skipping to the end of the convo i said well i let you know when saturday gets closer when and where we are going. She said remeber to let me know. I said i will you remember to come! she laughed and said ok. What some advice guys she was just a friend and im willing to risk losing that for a chance. Oh by the way i dont know if this makes a difference but im white shes black. I'm good at giving advice but when it comes to taking my own i question myself.

I don't know if you realize it but the thing with you getting busy and your truck being in the shop probably worked out to your advantage. It gave the effect that you have other things on your mind than just her. She sounds like she's really into you but don't get comfortable with it. You've got to start initiating things. You're going to start to come off as weak and lacking confidence. It helps that you were high school friends so she's already comfortable around you. I'm going to sound like your mom but just be yourself. She already know the real you from high school and she obviously likes it so just continue. The white-black thing doesn't matter. Some people try too hard and try to act different around a girl of a different race. Trust me, I've hooked up with several black girls and confidence doesn't change between race. Goodluck.
