Last night was tangible proof that sticking with it does work. I warmed with random people on the street just to get social. In the queue I opened a 3 set (with one guy) just to be social, my mate took to the hotter one HB6 (not much to choose from at that point ☺) I was having a conversation with the other two and it turned out that they were BF and GF. I thought they were shit conversationalist anyway. Luckily loads more people joined their group so I had more to pick from. Then my mate said I was a pornstar to his HB6. I got an abundance of IOI’s. Then we went into the club.

Getting to know people in the queue is such a good idea because we kind of said hello throughout the night and it was more people that would High 5 us as well. It was good social proofing to be in a big group.

I sarged a couple of 2 sets which were not brilliant but good practice using routines. Then that HB6 from the queue found me so I thought I would K-close because she was really up for it anyway. After that she just left and I didn’t speak to her again.


We went outside to the smoking area, which is a great place to talk as it quiet. Did a few more approaches and went a bit mental on negs so some of them went off me. Got a no.close of a girl who I then found out had a BF. See where that goes…

We went back in and my wing got a couple of HB7’s to dance with us. I couldn’t stop staring at one of the girls. My mates told be to stop being an AFC dick and I realized my gratuitous error. We were just dancing for ages and I did loads of kino escalation and then I tried actually sarging her. I said she was cute, but that cuteness is common and asked her what else she had going for her. She seems really offended. So I just thought fuck it, Can’t win them all. Then did a phase shift and just went for K-close and managed to pull it off. Got her digits. I text my wing who had disappeared. I followed them around until I found my wing and just left them.
My mentality at this point was really confident and I was blasé towards targets. I’m glad my wing had sense to sort me out.
