Here you are boys. Here is a hot girls fake profile that I made just to see what it would be like. When I say I instantly got emails, I mean within 30 seconds of the profile going public. Here it is after less than a day.

There you go boys. 40 emails in a day. Better hope your profile is amazing, and your message is original, or you are fishing in a very crowded lake. But don't worry, your competition isn't THAT bad. Most of these guys just say "hey baby" or something else that is bland and useless. Be original, be creative.

This is why I for the most part never send a message with anything relating to "hi" as the subject. I usually use a food name in the subject line.

40 emails a day for the first week, then it drops off the longer she's on the shelf. This doesn't tell me what makes a good message, per se, though.

I tried something similar a year ago and got the same results... Its the main thing that helped me to get such a good technique on POF. Gotta stand out from the crowed, esp with something differant in the subject.

That's plenty of fish, and I've been doing the same thing this week but on the UK side - 70+ messages in just over 2 days...

It's pretty painful to watch all these messages come in from all over the country - but the worst thing is that even the messages that don't follow the "Hi, How are you? You're gorgeous! My name is XXX" template, are ALWAYS making really lame comments/jokes about something on the profile or say something like "I'd love to get to know you better".

I mean, saying you want to get to know somebody better isn't an awful way to introduce yourself but only if you can back it up with something other than "I fink ur relly cuwte". The best message I have had so far was from some random guy doing RSD style stuff:

Title - "Boo!"
Msg - "Wow impressive sense of humour! Luff it! *High five*"

And the second best was from some friend(zone)ly 19 year old guy:

Title - "A lil birdie told me you were awesome!"
Msg - "I love awesome people haha!

Im sorta awesome too, but not in an ego maniac way :p

When you're done replying to the probable countless messages you
get, maybe you could let me get to know you? You could start with
your name
:)

[SIGNED HIS NAME]"

Heh, the guy was using some ericksonian hypnosis stuff without even realising it.

im on POF on the uk side,

dint realise how much competition was on there, really gotta up my game on this site!

for me the hardest part is keeping them interested, not always but useually i get the reply but then it just fades off....

and they always ask the same thing ... "hay how are you"

i agree though, the key is of course the first message but any tips guys on the follow up? cheers, clearSKY*

I've got 44 messages in the last 15 hours.

Most of them say "Hi" in the subject line.

Lame.

Honestly though, i think it's better to get out there and talk to girls. Online seems to be too much of a beat around the bush approach.
