I was outside a cafe/bar when two girls walk by and look inside. I tell them about the place and invite them inside (got them no cover, it was open mic night). I sit at the table with them. They know a guy inside, an artisan thats a little too happy for me to be comfortable around, a little too innocent, but he has bite. He's was an actor (not by trade, just socially)

So, meanwhile, I kept leaving the table flirting with other girls, but I always come back. this girl and I (we'll call her "filmmaker") got off quite well. Real. We liked each other. I got subtle IOIs. She talked to my friends, it was very endearing. We related very well and had fun together, and although I don't know her point of view, when I say that I'm saying it fairly accurately enough.

So, end of the night. We all walk the same way along with their guy friend which I had had minor confrontations with. I hate him. Anyway her friend invites me to her house. Me and filmmaker are talking well together. We get in and the other two go into different parts of the house. I play her a song on her friend out of tune piano and she said it was amazing. She hopped on the piano and we played some little duets and talked. Guys, it was really nice..

So, then, bedtime. I was to sleep on the couch and the three of them were to sleep in filmmakers friends room. They all go upstairs. after about 3 minutes of being downstairs I come up with a pillow and blanket (I had heard them talking) and said "I don't really wanna sleep downstairs by myself, can I like sleep on the floor or something?" filmmaker was in the washroom, and her friend basically said there was no room even though there totally was. So I said "Well ok I'm just gonna walk home then." She said she'd walk me out.

So I go downstairs feeling a fool. But it was the right call I think. I kinda buy some time hoping filmmaker will come downstairs, but eventually I give her friend my email and she gives me hers.

I get home and find them on facebook, send both a quick message. It doesn't matter what I sent filmmakers friend but heres half of what I sent her.

"Our talk stimulated me. It put me in a place I liked to be in. Apples under a tree, quietly reading poetry; pointing out good phrases and debating their meaning. Sunny day. It'd be good if to happen again. I'll have to rely on the horoscopes on this one.

a bientot"

I added the french and talked about horoscopes in hopes of drawing an anchor. I will add that the night went very well apart from the ending.

First off, K-loc, I would like to say I've read some of your posts and respect you.

I didn't need to get laid by her, I didn't necessarily even want it. She very much intrigued and inspired me and I could see her for who she is, and perhaps she could do the same. I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic. Talking all night drinking tea would be a credible intention of mine. Intention is a good question. Hold her in my arms..

Now I'm sounding like a 14 yr old girl so I'll just add in that it woulda been nice to fuck the shit out of her But in reality I wasn't fully thinking of that at the time. Enjoying company.

See, its easy to go out and create attraction and to be physically attracted to someone and want to fuck them. Its easy to say the Right Thing. What is rare is to be mentally attracted to someone. What is even rarer is to be mentally and physically attracted to someone, and she falls into the latest.

Although I was running a bit of game (I did a few original routines, best friends test [which I spontaneously modified because they asked each other which SHAMPOO!! AHHA they used, so I said because they asked each other it shows that they're truly great friends, but I already knew that cause filmmaker told me she'd known her friend since she was 7] DHV, social proof) but a lot of it was just soulful talking.

So, overall i'm just hoping she replies. its been almost a day since I sent it. I hope it works out. She was nice.
