FR 1# - I was out a couple of weeks ago with my friend in London visiting him. He had just finished 'the game' by Neil Strauss, and I was about half way through it, so it was almost our first night out with 'the game' in mind. We went straight to the club as it was late, and got in at about 11, and it was pretty dead at this point, but got more full as the night went on. I was drinking a bit of alcohol but my mate wasn't.

Although we were apprehensive at first about sarging different sets, we soon started and the more I got going the more I enjoyed it. In the end I got a number close (from a girl who had a boyfriend), and I feel I could have close-closed another girl, but she was about HB4, so I didn't find her attractive. It was a good start, and it was the first time in a long while I approached some girls whilst not completely hammered so I was content with my first night sarging.

FR 2# - This was a night out I had about a week ago, and the first night I peacocked as I had finished reading the game so I was excited for the night (I've also read up on another thread, and have found re-naming 'approach anxiety' to 'approach excitement' really helps and benefits me). Anyway, we started in the first bar, and I started chatting to the bar maid (HB8) who I felt was giving me IOI's, which gave me confidence, but when she came to clear some bottles from near our table, myself and the 2 guys I was with all froze up, and it was then obvious that we were intimidated by how attractive she was (some AFC mistakes..), but I took some confidence from that considering the IOI's I got. During the night I tried 'the cube' on a mate that's a girl, and she said it was so accurate for her, so I was chuffed about that outcome as well.

Anyways, I was more hanging out with my mates etc in the bars before we got to the club, and hadn't done many approaches before, so when I got into the club, I approached a couple of sets, but it was so loud it was hard to game anyone. Anyway, we went on the dancefloor like AFC's but my friend who also reads the game opened a 3-set on the dancefloor, and was getting on alright. One of the girls asked who his friends were and he introduced me, and straight away I knew one of the girls (the hottest of the three, HB7, liked me). There was lots of kino, etc, so I was confident with her. Long story short, I ended up going caveman on her as it was too loud to use any lines, and it worked, and I was kissing her for an hour, and ended up going back to hers.

This is where it went wrong. She was too drunk. She fell out with her flat mates and kept swearing at them, and she just turned into a mess. Not 'out of it' but was just way too drunk, so I bailed out of there after about 30 mins of chatting. Great confidence though since it was only my second night out, which was a plus.

FR 3# - This was just last night, so it is fresh in the memory. Went out straight after work so it was late. To get me up for the night, decided to say 'good evening' to everyone walking past, and I even got a compliment on my pink tie i was wearing from an HB7 with her bf (I was peacocking with my fake lip ring, pink tie, and white shoes together..). As soon as I got on the road with the most bars on, just before I met my friend, I approached a 2-set with "I'm meeting my friend in town, we're fairly new here, where's good to go?" and within five minutes I had one of their numbers, and she said she would sign us in. This was huge confidence booster, so I started the night with a bang. Approached a 2-set in a bar but wasn't feeling it, so ejected.

Onto another bar, and a hired gun approached selling shots. Quickly let her know I wasn't buying any, but continued to chat. Used "do you think this lip ring makes me look gay?", and she said why, then made up a story about how a guy had come onto me. Then she complimented me on it, also on my pink tie so I was delighted. Went for the number close, but she says she gets a lot of attention with her shot selling, but she said I seemed cool, but again, shows you the disadvantage of hired gun approaches.

Anyway, approached maybe 5 other sets during the night, but went back to AFC ways on the dancefloor; although did get one facebookclose during the night. On the whole I definately feel I should've approached more sets during the night, and been more direct on the dancefloor as I didn't make any approaches there.

So to conclude:

FR 1# - One number-close
FR 2# - One number-close/kiss-close with same girl, as well as going back to hers afterwards..
FR 3# - One number-close, one facebook close

So I guess there is progress on the whole! Anyway feed back would be very welcome, whether its good or bad. But I have a couple of questions for the PUA's:

1) How many sets should I aim to approach each night?
2) How to approach on the dance floor, even if its more direct?
