hello fellow nlp friends

just wondering wat ur opinion is on self hypnosis... i found an audio file called approaching confidence. do they work or are they a waste of time

It works. But it depends on your level of suggestibility. People have different levels of ease that they enter in a trance.

Firstly, all hypnosis is self hypnosis. When you see a hypnotist or anyone else who deals with trance work and suggestion, all they are doing is guiding your mind into a trance state. Your mind is still doing all of the work though, so anything that a hypnotist (or a tape!) can do for you, you can do for yourself. Is it easier with someone giving you the suggestions? Of course, then you can truly allow yourself to relax...to let all that does not matter begin to slip from your mind.....maybe beginning to feel the sensation of your back against the chair, and your feet against the floor for the first time, and realizing how relaxing that truly is...

To try self hypnosis, I would recommend you listen to the tape (author's name?) but afterwards you can put yourself 'under', as they like to say. Just take a few deep breaths in through your nose and then out through your mouth. As you allow your eyes to close, keep breathing, and on every exhale say (silently in your mind) "One, deeper relaxed." continuing all the way down 10. Make sure your mental tone is calm, slow and relaxed. Utilize the going first principal on yourself! To emerge, just say "I will emerge when I count from three to one, and feel really good for this rest that I've had!" Count from one up to three with a bit more of an energetic tone and open your eyes. After some practice, after you induce your trance, you can feed yourself suggestions. This was how I stopped smoking.

the audio file is on the puatraining.com website... my mate bought it and i stole it off him :P... it does work i number closed a hb9 yesterday i didnt even buckle... the website recommends that u listen to it a few times

I need also help in approaching and that`s why I got the "Approaching Confidence" hypnosis and now I have this question.
Should I listen to it, for example, every day?
How should I proceed, in order to reach some results ? :) :?:

A friend of mine said that with anything, you need practice... if u wanna get big, u go to the gym frequently (not me hate working out wish there was a hypnosis audio file for making me stick to my gym membership) lmao

bak to the question... if u want to change a behavior that u posses than it won't hurt to do the audio file a few times a week... i have done it a few times and it is working a treat with me but like Mind hacker said, "

The audio file isn't just good for picking up but confidence in general you will begin to notice that U WILL BECOME CONFIDENT!...

guys do you know which self hypnosis audio track is the best? ive got a few and i was wondering which one i should listen to over the suggested 21 day period.
