Hey guys. I just finished day gaming with my wing and a friend at a local University. It was nice out today and it was glories. Every different race, color, and creed was out. I made four good approaches and get hit with the boyfriend card once. All and all it was a good day.

I used both the direct method and the indirect/direct method that I watched the Asian guy used in the yellow fever video. My strength is not day game but night. I was mainly warming up for tonight (Friday night game).

The break down

Got hit with a shit load of AA at first so my wing had to do all the work. He had to leave to go to work, so it was just me and are friend. Before he left he told me I had to make at least two approaches. So I had to save face or hear it from him tonight.

First approach was a l set reading a book on a chair under a tree. I went in using the Indirect/direct method. The indirect part was fine, then I switch to direct saying that I just want to talk to her. Then bang “I have a boyfriend”. I continued to talk to her after that to gather more information on my gaming. But crash and burn in the end.

Second approach was an Asian with a knee brace. I used a situation opening. “What happened to your knee sports injury?” She was moving passed me but she stopped and talked to me for a little bit. I was sitting down at the time so I tried to cover the distance to get close to her. But no good, the opening worked but did not hold her for long. I failed to thread to a conversation with her.

The late two approaches I used the absolutely stunning line. It worked to get a smile from both girls bet no follow through. I have learned a lot about day game today and I want to try it again tomorrow to get more practice in. Moving set are a bitch but I will get it soon.

I have one question about opening girls on the phone or with headphone in. Is it possible to do so? There were so many HBs that fall into that category. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

OH YESSS! it is definitely possible to talk to a stranger with their phones or music on them! I have done this during the day game. I still get some AA even though I know I cold approached to a bunch of girls before. Try this: Don't think of approaching an HB and 'open', but think walking to an HB and talking instead. I will try to think of that belief to see if it works but I think it's a lot better to think that you're approaching to hit on a girl.

The way I opened girls who are walking is to walk up next to them not behind them. Then just tap her shoulder or arm. Then do your opener, start talking as soon as she stops and looks at you. She will stop walking and take off her earphones as soon as you start opening your mouth. And then just follow up with good Game . I rarely, probably never approached a set no larger than four people, so just keep that in mind when taking this advice.

It looks like the problem of your game right now is your transitioning. This is my problem too, I could open but get stuck in the mid-game. As my coach told me and in my experience is don't stay too long during the opener. Move on to another thread or routine for the attraction phase (M3 model) immediately. Hope this helps!

First thing is thanks for the reply. I think that you are correct about the transitioning part of my game. I just started being day game for real, as I said in my post I’m a night gamer. I will try your technique for opening sets with headphones on. I know that there is a risk in everything you do. There is always a chance of being blow out of set but with practice that risk decreases.

I like your technique but for right now I will work on just opening sets in the day. Once I feel that I have reached my limits at day game then I will try move advance techniques like yours. I have to focus on the basics of day games then move up the skills ladder over time. I will definitely keep your advice in mind. Thanks again.
