| So here's a little background. I've been playing around with Okcupid for awhile, and have tried out many different ways of sending messages. At first I was doing the whole nice guy thing, saying "Hey, I think you are interesting" etc bullshit, then I moved onto reading about pick up and tried to seem like they had something to prove to me. That worked a bit, but not nearly as well as what I do now.
I send messages that are extremely impulsive and ridiculous. I will make the message title anything, from "GOD DAMN IT" to "Look at my horse" and in the sea of "hey"''s and "I think ur cute" this is like a godsend.
For the actual body of the message, I'll still say something ridiculous but this time it's about something they do. If they read a lot of books by Russian authors, I'll ask them why they're training to become a Bond villain etc.
Now, not only do I always get replies, but from there I can segue into more real conversation.
For some validity of this idea, I'll tell you the kind of replies I've gotten in the last twelve hours:
"I have to say this is the best message I've ever gotten."
"Marry me."
"I'm impressed"
These are condensed obviously, but I left with the numbers of the latter two.
EDIT: I did this on a fake profile, one that's absolutely retarded, and even after telling them it was a fake, they wanted to know more.
Seriously try this method out, you've got nothing to lose.
