Its quite possible that Will did some PUA research for this film because although we see him to have natural game these days in real life and in his films with the level of confidence and smoothness he exudes, in an interview about the film he mentioned that in high school and college he didnt have that type of confidence and game with women.

He's Great action star but damn he really killed this role, possibly one of my favourite Will Smith characters and one of my favourite characters in any movie. Hitch is the man!

A bit hollywoodish, but got some great game in it.
I liked the part of the movie (not shown) that Smith goes to a group of guys courting a female and telling her "get me a drink will ya?" and gains her interest.

Most of you guys don't know this but Hitch was a movie inspired by a Pick-Up Artist/Dating Coach in New York. Not only that but also the producer actually asked the guy for tips and advices in developing the character that Will Smith played, and that was back in 2001. I forgot his name, but you could look it up for more info. Don't believe me, then look at one scene in Hitch where there was a board in his room with pictures of his client and their date titled "Social Dynamical", or something similar.

I just love this movie, don't really like the whole AFC Hollywood ending though, they should've made an alternate ending.

I completely agree with this guy. It is a good film but the whole 'just be yourself' ending is rubbish! When does that work when you are not even prepared? Only in Hollywood! :roll:
