I've been listening to this guy for a long time, it is an hour long video, well worth the watch. A great man, with a great talk on over-comming fear.

Hmm do you agree with him saying that you shouldn't have a back-up plan in life for anything ?

Because many things in life don't turn out the way you expect it to turn out, I think you must have a plan B just in case. Otherwise you actually WILL have fear because you are stuck and might not be able to think of a plan B in time and fail with w/e you were doing.
What will you do when you lose your job, didn't get the job you were hoping to get, didn't get allowed at a college you wanted to go to or w/e ? Will you be happy that you listened to this monk and just kept being 'kind' and 'fun' rather than having a back-up plan that might save you a lot of trouble & makes it possible to succeed ? Same thing for a PUA, they aren't suppose to be the 'nice guy' they are suppose to be the opposite...

This guy gives you lessons on how to be a 'monk', unfortunately they live a different life than us. Even though some stuff he says is so right, still i believe this video isn't recommended for people here unless you want to be a monk yourself.

What advice is geared towards being a monk?

You're taking this out of context. He is not saying be lazy and don't do anything. He wants to do things without having fear stop you. If you fail at something don't worry about it and don't get scared just keep focussed and keep going.

I never wrote that he said 'be lazy'. And how are you suppose to 'keep going' when you fail if you don't have a back-up plan? You say: "don't be scared it'll work out". But you think that line will help anyone to overcome his fear ?

Maybe you will understand the talk better if you contemplated on what; "it'll work out" actually means?
