I finally was able to (partially) overcome AA. I was able to approach and have conversation with a complete stranger HB8. I didn't do any number close because I had no idea how to end it. I work in well known newspaper publisher and the girl turned out to be a student in journalism school. So when I was about to leave, I told her "call me if you're interested in getting an internship in my company, I might be able to help, also you can find me on facebook", and I gave her my business card then I left. That was yesterday and she didn't call or add me on facebook but what matters that I was able to approach her. Anyway, how bad was that close ?
Today I found some HB9 and I wanted to approach her but she looked young (something like 17 or 18 ) and I'm 23. Since this is my second year in US,I still don't know how socially acceptable would it be if I talk to her ?

It could be that she just looks young. A girl that works at a local restaurant looks like she's 20-25. After talking to her I found out she's actually 38 (!) and it's all natural.
And there's only one way to find out. Open, talk, have fun.
