How long did it take u to comfortably project confidence in your body language? The reason I ask is because its obviously something that doesnt neccesarily happen instantanously. You can easily open your body language but to reinforce projecting your body language in that manner naturally and comfortably may take some time, so I was wondering how long did it take you (for those who have mastered this) to do this comfortably, naturally and insticntually?

took me literally a night or 2. I read alot about body language, learnt what postures where dominant and alpha and then merely put them to practice on nights out. I think it is something you can learn and apply v quickly.

Im no expert but when i tried to mimic what i read etc etc it comes off and unnatural.

But now i have so much self confidence and the "swagger" that the body language handles itself, i guess its easier once your in the mindset.

exactly. it is all about understanding why certain postures are alpha and then once you understand that you start to produce it naturally

Go out and buy the definitive book of body language by Allan Pease & Barbara Pease. I read this book before I got into the game and my body language was already on point. The beauty of this book is you will at all times notice how you stand and you can change it if you're not standing like you should.

I watched a seminar on the subject by Lance Mason. I applied some of the techniques he preached the next day at work, and noticed an immediate change in the attention I was getting. That in turn immediately changed how comfortable I was applying the change in body language. I've never had to question the subject again... except to ocassionally wonder if it worked because his technique was really that good, or that because I believed I had some new secret seduction weapon which caused me to automatically project more unintentional confidence. I may never know the answer. Probably a little of both.

I felt it came really easily after knowing. Also, to get a nice swagger just think about music. For whatever reason, thinking about something with a strong but laid back beat always gets me in the right place. Something like RJD2's "Ghostwriter" or the Gorillaz "Empire Ants" keeps my mind happy, and my walk relaxed.

I did it one thing at a time. Body language is not just about walking. The swagger and the leaning back while sitting is the easiest part. There is also what to do with your hands. I let them hang comfortably on my lap or on the arm rest if the chair has one. I don't tense anything. This takes time to master. This way you look like you are totally comfortable with who you are adn are not seeking anything (also one should not be constantly looking left nad right).

It also takes time to learn to move slowly (although walking like you are trying to get somehwere is also a DHV in my opinion). However, you should not go out of your way to accomodate people. For example, by a water cooler or something. When you are pouring water, don't rush like you care about delaying the next person in the line. Take your time, even have a delayed response. This makes it look like you don't give a shit. You are totally comfortable and you deserve your turn in line.

Then there is eye contact. This takes time. It is one thing not to project, but what do you do when your eyes meet another person (man or woman). Your first instinct is to look away, especially if you are trying not to project. This makes you look like you are nervoous or hiding something. So it takes time to not project while at the same time maintain eye contact if it happens (as it inevitably does sometimes). Then when you meet a target, you should somehow smile after you make eye contact (a confident cocky smirk). This I have not managed to master yet. Doing one is easy, doing all three, each in its turn, takes practice.

Also talking slowly I have not managed to master.

It takes time. I don't believe that you guys mastered all this in one or two days. The walk maybe, but all this?

There are probably more stuff also.

becoming a master on body language doesnt happen overnight; or 2 nights. does becoming a master PUA happen overnight? no

I obviously got the basics very quickly, but to do them intuitively, naturally and properly took me over a year.

I learned about body language about 3 years ago, and i still think about it everyday, to this day.

Body language is so key because you can read situations before you approach or how people feel without talking to them.

Knowing if a girl in a set in interested in you before approaching will adjust your gameplan and help you avoid those sets that really arent into you.

The swagger in your stride comes from the confidence in your mind

You only truly master body language once you don't have to think about it anymore and it becomes natural.

It can happen very fast for some people (literally in a day or two). Some people take longer. Go watch the movie "Fight Club". Brad Pitt is the epitome of alpha male in that movie. Take mental notes of his body language.
