Get into a closed environment and start small talk with people first, just to remind yourself how easy it is. I recommend a coffee shop. It doesn't matter whether you speak to males or females. Just be social. Soon, it will start building your confidence, and then you'll be ready to go out in the field and approach women. That's when you enter a night club or something.

PS: Bookstores are also great for meeting women. Especially the New Age section, since you go into a routine about "fated meetings" and "soulmates" and such... Whether or not this is real, I don't know, but it works with women.
