I don't know if its just me, but the ladies seem to love this. Since its summer, shorts are in order. The girls at my college seem to like the fact that I wear shorts with my dress shirts (which are long sleeve). Why is that? Because it is not the norm, or is there some underlying reason? I wear khaki shorts with a nice blue striped shirt, collar down, sleeves not rolled up. Anyone else do this?

Its unconventional and it shows that you are relaxed with the shorts, but can dress up and impress with the shirt. I think that's probably it.

Long ago, in ancient history, my AFC days, there was this one girl, perfect 10, who used to drive me nuts cause on cold days she's wear a short skirt so that guys could see her legs, but a long sleeve sweater. She's then complain like the bitchass she was how cold it was, expecting all the boys to do something about it.

Point is- long sleeves with short pants/skirt draws a lot of attention. But is usually uncomfortable.
