i really dont mind how much time i spend on training at the moment, im trying to loose some weight so i have a decent six pack. HIIT is good but apperently you can only do it once a week...

according to drew baye "if you do it correctly and really push yourself, you will be only able to do it once a week" or something along those lines :/

yeah, you can do HIIT about 2-3 times a week. Do note though, that it is HARD to do.

When you first look at it, you'll go like "pff just 15minutes of working out. I used to run for 1 full hour!", but the intensity of HIIT is just way, and way higher. You won't be able to complete the 15minute excersize the first couple times you are going to do it, unless your stamina is godlike.

Make sure you do a good warming-up, about 3-4 minutes. Then start the training right away.

Oh, and if you really want a decent sixpack, then you should be looking at your food aswell. Eat HEALTHY food. About 6 meals a day, at least 1 every 2-3 hours. And drink alot of water. Water will help your body get the rescources better/faster from your food.

cheers,
NAB

You can do HIIT 2-3 times a week aslong as your allowing recovery time. Plus don't do it on the same day as weight training, as you'll lose muscle aswell. The way I see it.
Monday - Weights LIIT
Tuesday - HIIT
Wednesday - Weights LIIT
Thursday - HIIT
Friday - Weights LIIT
Sat/Sun - Rest

There are multiple ways mix n match these routines, aslong as HIIT isn't with weights your fine.

But generally I find doing an hour max weights training drains all my reserves so there is only fat left to burn when I just on the treadmill for 40mins (hitting 65-85% HR). Or you could do first thing LIT (running on an empty stomach) this can be incorporated with Weights and LIT.

All depends how hard you want to push yourself.

Where did you get "don't do it on the same day as weight training, as you'll lose muscle aswell." from? just interested how that would work. Yeah ive noticed that for the best muscle gains its best to stick to 2 times a week weight training for me.

interested why doing HIIT training and weights on the same day would make you lose muscle get back to me on that please :)

holy crap how do you do 1 hour of weight lifting? you must be doing hellof alot of sets. yeah i want to push myself right to my limits.

yeah but i feel like i have spare time i could be using on getting fit but im just sitting around doing nothing. i usualy am exausted.
