Hey guys. I just wanted to give a quick pointer on number closes. I've gone through hundreds of number closes and I've just gotten to the point where when the time is right I do the same thing nearly every time.

Here's the kicker: Don't ask for her number!

This is what I usually do:

Take out my phone and text someone/pretend to text someone while we're talking. Especially while she's talking! Add her name to your contacts, then say to her, "Hold this for a second." And give her your phone. Then just say, "Put your number in there."

Why does it work? Well first it lets her know that you remember her name. But really it's because you're telling her what to do; not asking for her approval. Anytime you ask her for something you're giving her the chance to judge, and to turn you down. She wants you to be dominant. She wants you to tell her what to do.

I know this is a pretty small bit, but it's the simplest thing to do wrong. "Can I have your number?" C'mon. That just sounds puss.

I do the same thing all the time and it works. Asking for numbers is for AFCs

Good advice for AFC... I stopped asking for numbers long time ago... this approach works great or I set up a date then after that I say here is my number give her mines then when she puts it in her phone call me so I can get yours... but again remember always to exchange and never just leave it one way by exchange u get the right number everytime...
