Quick background. Met this girl through a friend and have been talking to her for a while, too long actually. Always hung out in groups, but she def had some interest. We started chatting online and again, probably too much cuz we would talk for a couple hrs each day. But the convo was good and loaded with sexual innuendos and straight out talk of us fucking.

So we finally have a one-on-one hangout/date set up a week in advance. All week the talk is good, then today, she sends me a text saying she has to cancel. Her excuse is pretty lame and I can totally tell it's a lie. Through my buddy, Im pretty sure she has interest in some other dude and I think she blew me off for him.

Here's where I need advice. I know I have to put some distance between me and her and can't tell her I'm pissed/hurt, that's AFC shit. But since we talk about 5 days a week right now, I know she's gonna ask why I haven't been talking to her. How should I explain it without it coming off like I'm crying about her flaking on me? There are many things you could say here, I am not sure which fits best your situation.
You can tell her that you were busy.
Or why not risk a little bit and tell her that you had to see some female friends, or you had a date?

Honestly man, you're already in too deep with this girl and you should have f-closed her a long time ago.

I would make one more attempt to set something up with her, and if I got any resistance at all, including excuses, time lapses in replys, etc. She would be cut off completely until she put enough effort into winning me back.

I am in too deep. I know it now, and knew it while it was happening. Live and learn. I'm just cutting her off completely now until she shows me something. I've given her a couple chances already so there's no need to keep digging the hole. I've already started climbing out and talked to some other girls. Thanks fellas.
