What is the key to having an attractive display picture because this is the one what matters the most and will get most girls hooked and interested if your not chiseled like me and cant take a topless pic showing off your 6 pack what should be done?

I took a few pics of a buddy of mine for his profile and used lighting effects in photoshop to make his main one look like he was standing in a dark alley. You can't really make out a lot of details in his face. Which is fine, because he's not a bad looking guy. He is however, a chubby bastard and the low light DOES NOT hide that fact. He posted that particular picture on hotornot.com and got rated 9.2.

Dude...this guy is ANYTHING but a 9.2...at least looks wise.

Oh and just as a side note for anyone else reading this: DO NOT post pictures of yourself with your shirt off, even if you DO have ripped abs or a chiseled chest....those kinds of pics scream INSECURE DOUCHEBAG.

Try going on hotornot.com. There should be a section of "the hottest guys on hotornot" or some stupid shit like that. Take a look at some of the guys in there that are getting high ratings and you'll start to get an idea of what kind of facial expressions, lighting, colors, etc. go over well in a picture that girls are checking out.

If you look at photos of say, james dean, he does a lot of this too. I suppose such positioning is naturally mysterious.

Try to have shots where you are smiling or laughing preferably with people and preferably doing some sort of activity - a posed shot before or after the activity should be usable as well. Shots showing you wearing different clothes - one in a suit is usually recommended

So then a 9.3?

More like a 5.
