I've been working POF for the last month or so. The reply rate I've been having has been really high and I've been able to turn it into emails which almost always lead to phone numbers. However, I've been having trouble going from there to real-life "day 2s".

I'm guessing this has to do with not building enough comfort before pushing for the meet. Then again, I'm trying not to get stuck into "pen-pal" mode.

Anyone have any experience overcoming this?

Call her as soon as you have her number. Talk to her for no less than 30 minutes, then push for the meet up. Not only will you establish more comfort and more attraction with that phone call, but you'll also increase your chances of sleeping with her once you get her in person. Extensively field tested.

I've been having this same problem too. I would recommend trying to find a legit reason as to why she should give you the number. Lets say you have plans with friends tonight, so you tell her she and her friends can tag along. That way she will feel comfortable meeting up with someone she met online, and if she turns you down you still display the fact that your still going to have fun without her presence.

The call seems like a great idea. After you mentioned it, I realized that most of the girls I've met and closed from online I had talked to on the phone beforehand. Good point.

Its been said time and time again that you need to move from online to offline as quick as possible, that way it makes it easier and you haven't given too much info away before hand.


I usually go for a quick call once I get the number, followed with a few texts or short calls before the meet.

I usually have a call sheet of DHV stories and a few unusual questions for her per-written before hand, just in case it goes pear shaped.


After that, follow up with a meet in a fun place, somewhere interesting so that you can have a shred memory rather than just a chat in a pub or coffee shop. A sea-life center, arcade or bowling are favs of mine, if all goes well you can easily find time to chat or move onto somewhere quieter. Just an easier workflow for me.
