Hey guys, im going out on the sarge again tonight with a friend, we are both happy to open and we do it with ease, but i have found my sticking point, before i go over to a set i have to sometime ask my friend to run some stuff to me that i can use after the opener, i feel like i will run out of things to say and ruin the open but in the past i have left before the conversation got stale and we reaped the rewards when they kept walking past for our attention later on.

sorry for the long post but i was wondering if anyone knew of an old mid game thread or any advice, my friend and i will often use cold reading and ESP when we are both working the set but i need stuff for when its after the opener.

the esp etc you got going already is good.
If your looking for something straight after the opener then you have to transition, this basically means to change the topic from the opener to something else, so that she doesnt think you only talk about 1 thing. An easy way is to notice something about her, if it is a group, ask how they all know each other, or just go into your ESP/cold reading.

Ahh good tip, i will remember to ask them how they know each other. I was allways worried about going into interview mode or looking like i was making small talk, so i will definatly ask them more group type of questions like how they know each other.

yeah you definately wanna avoid the 'interview'. Just try to keep it fun and playful, and once youre in, if you run out of stuff just say "right ill talk to you later" and leave the group, and if youve built enough attraction the girl will come and find you at some point in the night

I usually open, then then I "notice" a ring on her finger and go straight into ring routine, and slowly I can build up kino more and more

Yeah i did that before where i was talking to a 2 set and after the Toy Story opener (which do you prefer woody or buzz?) the target was asking me quetstions like how old i am and my full name (no idea why) so i told her that she better not start stalking me on facebook now and that i dont want to see a friend request in the morning (cocky/funny?) then i said it was nice talking to them and i was going back to my friends.

About 10 minutes later the target come over to me and asks me my opinion on toy story and i reply over the shoulder to her.

Another 10 minutes pass and the target and her friend go to the toilet (which is past our table) and it looked like they were trying to get some attention so i ignore them til the are on their way back and i ask them the My little ponies opener, after which my wing tells them to sit down and things progress from there.

Sorry for the mini field report it started out as a quick snip so you have an idea of how i worked that set with the idea of leaving after rappore and attraction so they come to find you, i guess it works well because of the cat string theory aswell. I will look up the 'ring routine' later and add it to my arsenal.
