Last week wednesday I was out with my regular wing, lets just call him "Price" to protect his privacy. We were at our local Pub where we have tons of socialproof. Sitting at the bar was HB10 Boots. We saw her a few nights earlier but I was in a group so therefore did not approach and she left before I could eject.

Long story short, we saw her again on the wednesday. I approached immediately and opened with a neg. "I love your boots but do you not own any other shoes? I saw you in those boots the other night as well". She replied, "I like my boots and if I dont wear them I am in flip-flops. I negged immediately again, "Oh no, Please tell me a classy girl like you dont hang in flip-flops, I cant even talk to you right now", and turned my back on her. This got her attention because every other man was hitting on her with the lamo, "Can I buy you a drink" gig. She grabbed me by the shoulder and reinitiated the chat. A couple of minutes into the banter I dropped another neg or rather a put down, "Now I know why you hide your legs with those boots, look at the cellulite you got going", this was done with a sincere smile while I piched her expposed leg (Check the kino escalation). Her value was then dropped and mine was escalated and this was seriously alluring.

In this entire pickup I made 1 fatal flaw. I didn't pay any attention to her girl friend(The obstacle) and this cost me big time. My wing was busy in a set of his own and could not join me in this 2 set and could not keep the obstacle busy. The girlfriend felt left out and was try hard in trying to get my attention. I should have caught on and shifted my attention to her, this would have secured the HB10 Boots but the girl friend whispered something into HB10's ears and I lost the set.

I did number close but I didn't have enough time to build comfort. I am not going to call her yet. I know I will see her again and will then build some comfort first before trying to set up a meeting.

1 Question, should I just call her and try to build comfort over the phone or is my approach right? I did get a hug and a peck on the lips.

Don't wait too long, just call her whenever you are ready to set up a d2, but show you are still the same guy she was attracted to that night.
I personally don't believe in the "wait 2 days to call" rule. it is stupid and counterproductive - she will eventually lose interest in you and she's a 10, guys probably hit on her very often.

the thing that works for me is to text her the same night after meeting her.. just say "so fun to make new friends.. happy i met you ".. something as simple as that just to get the conversation started... once she feels comfortable with texting she will eventually give you a call.
