Facing her is so important, and this is where most people fail on grinding, always just trying to dry hump the girl without looking at her but the girl ejects and you end up feeling foolish and somewhat embarassed.
Also watch out for their friends when you aren't facing the girl, the friends and the girl usually give each other the look of approval if they think you are hott or attractive enough to be dancing with their friend. So try and get a face to face dance before you grind on the chick from behind, which in my early stages of clubbing I would just jump on that ass and grind, and depend on the friends approval which I started noticing when they were head nodding eachother to dance with me or not in dark noisy clubs.
Lock fingers once in a while to makes things more intimate when grinding from behind, slowly move her hands while locked motioning it in a wide circle, and then into a close hug on her stomach.
Whisper in her ears about how good she smells, and any little compliments to pump up the sexual tension, and often times challenge her dancing skills by telling her she isn't moving her hips sexy enough. Often times they will grind the hell out of you if you say that, giving you some enjoyment if all things go wrong in the end so just have fun.
Make sure you are in control and having fun for yourself, not her. Think about yourself when grinding, and what turns you on when you are jirating your hips etc... You don't have to take things serious, if you feel things aren't going well you should leave her immediately before she ejects.
Oh very important if you are dancing with a girl in a group and her friends aren't dancing with any guys, immediately try and pull any guy nearby to dance with them. This is to prevent her friends from ejecting the dance floor taking your girl away from you with a quick pull and ejecting your ass.
Don't dance with one girl for too long, I don't care what any person tells you either you get her off the dance floor and talk to her, or you eject and tell her to have fun and enjoy herself, preparing to talk to her later when you think you can get her individually on a more personal level. Try and avoid getting her number on the dance floor, because when you give her your cell and she starts typing your number in other girls are around watching and you could potentially ruin your chances with them if you look like you are just their picking up on chicks. Get her number away from the crowded dance floors just go to a wall near a corner, or couch, or even the bar table if you get drinks for the both of you.
