I know most guides say, "Either drop it completely or joke about the topic at hand if you disagree with it." However, there have been times where for some reason or whatever, a serious argument about something has broken out and I get thrusted into it. Before I was into PUA stuff, I would have stuck it out, argued my points and seemingly notice that the girl kind of gave me that "You're an asshole" vibe. But now, when I'm on my own talking to a girl, I've had pretty good results joking about whatever she tried to say and I disagree'd with. But I find that in certain situations, arguments become valid to argue, but they always result in as I said, "you're an asshole" vibe. Anyways, any opinions on this?

Playfully disagree and then change the subject, getting in to an argument kills all tension, and most times almost all attraction

You should not abandon your beliefs just for her but arguing like, you are a stupid bitch if you think that Britney is taller than Mick Jagger... Thats just annoying.

obvs i would never have a full blown argument with a girl on a night out but...
if i agree with a girl's opinion without question, it can be a bit of a dead end in terms of conversation.
if i disagree, then it can make the conversation a bit more interesting, shows i'm not a pushover.
it just seems like there's a bit of a balance to be had.
for instance, a girl i was talking to last week told me her 22 y/o (her age) ex was seeing a 17 y/o. i'm 28, so i was like "big deal, they're both quite young" and i got her number later. i dunno...
