I can game girls pretty easily at malls and stuff, but I'm always there BY MYSELF. At school, I can't do sh1t, because of the whole social proof thing. I don't really know where to start. My outer game is decent, but I have almost no inner game. And I can't keep faking confidence when it's really not there.

I was in a similiar situation you were in, and I think it really boils down to really being comfortable in your own skin and being able to freely express yourself in anyway without fear of judgement. Adam Lyons as well as alot of top PUAs like DJ Fuji talk about Destination . A process of progressively putting yourself in situations little by little to reach the end goal in mind. This can be applied to confidence. There are a series of social experiments you can put yourself through to obtain this.
Social Experiment #1-Walk down the street with a dress and say hi to strangers
After you have enough confidence to do this, approaching the hottest girl, or being worried about your image, or self presentation shouldn't be an issue.

Way of The Superior Man by David Deida, and Unlimited Power by Tony Robbins. These books will align your beliefs, remove your negative beliefs associated with women, and give you a definition for masculinity.
Also to get friends, try joining some clubs on campus, or join some sports, or do student body.
