Ok I need help. I'm a chronic mary jane smoker of the last 3 years. I remember before weed how much more active and better quality life was. Weed has really stripped my motivation and i'm ready for a change. Anyone know any nlp or any techniques which can help someone overcome an addiction to pot? Remember i smoke all day everyday!

whats up bro im a daily smoker as well ( dutchie :D ) and have been doing it for a while, there really arent any things thatll help you with your addiction the best advice i can give you is DON'T GIVE UP!
if you're REALLY addicted ( ive been smoking daily for 5 years ) and try to stop it aint gonna be easy the first 1 or 2 weeks youll experience a headache, moodswings, and the sweating is awful.
good luck bro, but remember
quitting.. is for people who quit

Chronic smoker here! (2 years) One thing that helps me is to stay busy... Develop some hobbies/activities that are hard to do when high. I am religious Freestyle skier, I can't learn any new tricks if i am high. (hurts coordination and reaction time) It's to much of a chance to take especially when most of the tricks i am learning now involve going upside-down. ha ha If Im not doing that i am either working at one of my two jobs or chillin with friends. Because i have my day filled with things that can't be done high, I smokes less often. Now I only smoke before bed.

After that just STOP and push through the first 2 weeks. After that you don't really want it anymore.

im a weed smoker too but the best advice i can give you is not to quit just lessen how many joints u smoke a day and u will slowly weam off of it, and find something to keep u busy so u dont have time to smoke (job, girlfreind, excersize, etc.)

I agree with Marq.

The best thing to do is be realistic. You're not gonna succeed if you try to go cold turkey. Just try to slowly reduce the amount you smoke until you get it to a more tolerable level.

i used to smoke ALOT to... Just quit cold turkey... it will take, will power...but will power doesn't have to be something you have its just something you use... and once you feel as though you really want to quit smoking pot...and when you really let those thoughts run through your mind...all the urges will begin to disappear completely from your life...and isn't that a relief...once you continue on your journey towards a more fulfilling life you may run into a few problems... but afterwords it will be worth it...and every one will be proud of you...and most importantly you can be proud of yourself...but just to let you know, theres going to be no big celebration, no fireworks when you...quit smoking...you may...have internal celebration because your doing it...and you will begin to value the way your life is changing after realizing inside that you've wanted to stop this habit for a long time, it will be easier and easier to just let it go... -Good luck
