| So I walk into this party with two of my friends. I rememeber to think of the three second rule, and the minute we walk into the party I turn to the right of the door and approach...about a 3. Ok, so its an opener and Im a rookie. Give me a break. So I start by asking “can I get your opinion on something? My friends been going out with this girl for three months but he still keeps in touch with his old girlfriend. Do you think there's anything wrong with that?” So I was stumbling with the line a little, which must look fuckin TERRIBLE(i mean, not that I cared, it was really just for practice) and she responds...fuck I dont even remember how she responded, something small and relatively not enthused,....not so unenthused, I mean, haha, I think she gave a response....I go “thanks” and walk away. (FTR I am not sucuuuch the fag I'm going to seem. I mean, I've hooked up with a decent amount of girls before. I want the best ones though you know!)
Ok, I start scoping around for any cute girls and I see this one, who's in between two guys. I didn't feel good enough about my game to appraoch a HB in front of two guys (one who was her brother turns out, the other who within about 4 minutes was putting his arm around her). O, and If I was going to approach her, what should I have done?? Anyways, I freeze. I look around and I don't see any other HB. I'm there with my one friend who's a huge social person and loves talking(and is a little annoying. Not great at it. Like, it's ingrained in his personality. Talks very fast.) the other guy who was his friend who was a nice guy, but I mean, being honest, looked like not the coolest guy in the world, to put it lightly. He was a nice guy though! Anyways, so I make second mistake (or thiird...or fourth...i guess you guy's will let me know how many) and start walking around the party in circles, kind of looking to see if I see anyone interesting.( I probably should have stayed in one spot, right?) so finally I come to a stop with my other two buds and we're standing in the middle of this 60 person party in an apartment and just chatting. A girl who ive seen before who's a major ho but kind of cute walks up/past us three and my talkative friend and those two begin chatting for a minute. As their conversation dies down I reach my hand over to the top of her dress and go “you had a piece of lint on your dress”. To which she responds “thanks”. She then walked away.
Finally the HB from before was walking around closeish to our group with her friend, without the brother or bf. I figure this is as good a time as any, even though I broke the three second rule. This is the night for me. I try openeing, to her friend even more specifically “hi, my friends been going out with this girl....for, uh, three months and....” and I I just totally fuckin stumble and lose my train of thought. “...and...he still keeps in touch with his ex gf. Do you think there's anything wrong with that?” So I was trying to have my body language be more torwards to not-as cute girl, who looks at her cute girlfriend and goes “what do you think?” and she responds, totally uninterested and playing with the ipod “I couldnt hear” to which I respond, like a fuckin asshole deucshbag shithead, “is there something wrong with your hearing?”, to which she responds “no, im right near the speakers”. She turns her attention back to the ipod, the friends texting on her phone, and I fuckin book. I stay at the party another 15 min, looking to see if there are any HB but I'm done. The HB I messed up on and I'm not in the mood to hit on mediocre chicks. I didn't even drink tonight bc I have so much work this week.
