Ok this is the second time in 2 days that I run into a hb either waitin for the train or while on the train. Today I walk in the car and sittin is this hb10, we make eye contact and I sit perpendicular frm her so my position is facing her but I'm not payin attn to her. 2 stops pass and she starts the hair flicking...big ioi there. But still dnt kno which opener to use. Then I see her fingernails, manicured and painted blue!! My fav color. Ding ding, I got an opener. But then I notced she has her iPod on listening to music.2 more stops later she pulls put her phone (maybe another ioi?ok now here's my sticking point. I didn't open bcuz I didn't kno how to approach with her havin those headphones in her ears!!! Anyone got any gud ideas for nxt time I'm in this situation?

What i do is either rip the earphones off, or in sign language i tell her too, since she cant hear. It shows your confidence too. Trsut me that will get her attention, make sure you do it right though.

Lol this is NYC, dnt think it wud b smart for sum random guy to rip put a girl's headphnes. But I guess I can use the sign language nxt time

don't exactly remember what i used, but it's something like this:

haha. its funny you post this. im ridin the bus a month ago and a hb8
was sittin across from me. and the bus was packed.

so i took a sheet of paper and wrote "hey, you seem really cool and i want to chat wit you but the people on the bus are creepy. dont want our business out in the open LMAO. whats your name"

then we exchanged numbers and took it from there. but thats my opener for public transportation.

I usually look for a hook with something she's wearing or some other accessory. Then you can do a statement-question opener like "I've noticed a lot of girls with that scarf. Clearly they're all stealing from you right?"

Hey guys, this is what I did while I was on the train sitting next to a hb8. She was wearing ear phones as well. I took out my phone and typed a msg on it, I can't remember what the msg was but anyway, I give the phone to her so that she can read the msg and she replied by typing a msg on my phone and handing it back to me with a smile. After that she took off her ear phones and I number closed.

i usually touch her arm with softly with my the back of my hand, she well automaticly take the ipod out of here ear. and use a opener.
i tried direct openers and indirect openers based on what i think is best on that moment.
