Hey guys so I was out with a few buddies at the weekend and at the end of the night it was just two of us in the club.
He has a girl so wasn't interested in gaming but is a good wingman all the same.

Anyways so we are near the end of the night and just having a last sccan on the dance floor. I spot an HB8 dancing with her friend and we do a bit of eye contact, not enough to show interest but a little.
Plus I'm now thinking of how to open as I don't want to just wander over and letch in her hear etc.

Next thing you know this guy goes down to dance beside her, so I think ok lets see what happens here and monitor whilst chatting with friend. Now its important to note that I'm not staring at her but more watching out of the corner of my eye whilst doing my own thing. When I do look she looks back and then she gives me what I say is a clear IOI.
Turns to her friend but with her body angled towards me and does a finger in the throat gesturing to the guy. (hard to describe was with her head - but she wanted me to see)
So I move down to the dance floor with drink in hand and just stand there casually sipping it until its finsihed. Getting looks from her and body facing me so all is looking good. So when the drink is finished I move in and the guy has left enough room for me to block him (not aggressively more ignorantly) and I now occupy the space in front of her.

I assumed the guy would just cut the loss and go for her friend, it is the end of the night after all! My plan was to close the distance with her and move in without saying anything, just a bit of kino - hands etc and work from there.

Now the guy obviuously didn't read the script and he tries to get the space back, but I just block him and generally AMOG him in front of her, still not even akcnowledging he is there.

So what happens? Well before I can put the rest of the plan into action the music stops and the lights come on!
There was some tension built but at that point it was totally gone.

Considered going in for the chat but had lost the momentum by that point and ejected.

So lesson? Well I could have gone for chat but the moment was gone after the music stopped and I think a failure was on the cards. Shoud have anyway, but plan was upset and was shocked so really had nothing to say!
Also I put too much effort into blanking the other guy.

As soon as I got that space I should have started kino and worked it from there.
Tried the cool thing by not rushing in etc but still should have moved a bit faster.
