in discussing and planning non-canned conversation and "natural" game.

Just wondering.

i do see the irony but i guess some guys feel more comfortable feeling like they have a plan of attack, isn't discussing natral game working on and recognising trigger points or situations that you know you excel in or can manipulate it to your favour......which i guess in a sense is canned material

It's not ironic at all. There is a great difference between canned and natural game.

Canned: pre-planned material, routines, and scripts used in specified situations.

Natural: pointing out the tools you already have to use your environment and surrounds to your advantage. Nothing is pre-planned because you never know when or where you will be gaming. You don't need scripts/etc. because you use everything around you to improvise on the spot. Natural game also has more of an analytical aspect. It's an observation of working natural human interaction and behavior that is simply pointed out.

Yeah, I dont know how to say this... but the deal was non-canned game...

Having been arrogant enough I would like to say that I see why it seems ironic but also agree that it isnt. Most people wanna transition from scripted game to natural game. They might need advice during their development. Its like I dont like when people overuse routines but I accept that it is a step in the maturation process so why not help them through it?

I'm not hating and I can appreciate the need for assistance in development and maturation into natural game. As Cajun (one of my favorite PUA's) once said:

The idea of developing in game is to give someone all the tools they need to pickup outrageously beautiful women, then slowly strip as many of those tools away while keeping the same results.

But that being said - the forum title says:

Discuss natural gaming: situational and observational openers, non-canned conversation, non-verbal game, direct game

The irony is that if you use a pre-planned situational opener or conversation piece... well it really doesn't qualify as natural or non-canned then does it. I even saw a thread on the first page which said "discuss your best natural game openers".

I'm not hating and I am all for people developing themself in any way whatsoever - I just got a cheap laugh out of the irony of that. The fact is that this forum helps people like me, and I could never be against that, no matter who ironic and funny it may or may not be.

I'm not disagreeing that canned material is a step toward becoming a natural in any way. In fact, if you are a complete beginner and need that boost to start, I recommend brushing up on some canned routines... Over time however, I would recommend dropping the scripts as soon as you feel comfortable. Keep in mind, not everyone has to take steps to become a natural - some just are natural or were "born" natural and don't understand why their game worksl. Game is modeled to imitate these circumstances AKA canned material.

I don't believe in sarging, I just pick up girls in random places like the bus, or when i'm out shopping, hanging out with friends, taking my dog for a walk, so I guess I would be natural game? I never understood the difference, now I can see it. Canned just seems like corny pickup lines to me.

I'm usually using situational, direct, or indirect, never opinion

Well if you're constantly in natural game mode, you could say you're sarging ALL the time. I don't really think it makes sense to plan it, so it IS ironic.... but as for a forum/plan to LEARN natural game, this is not strange at all, you need a plan when you want to learn ANYTHING. So deliberately sarging/doing approaches is good practice for natural game, in that sense a plan is not unusual. Just don't expect to be sexing the first girl you sarge for practice!

Most of the time I find natural sarging is as EASY as simply chatting up a girl like you're just having fun and don't care what happens, then say you enjoyed the conversation and tell her "type in your 10 digits, I gotta go" and then game her on the phone.

Other times, you could just use direct openers, cut through all the crap: "Hey I just noticed you and I had to give you a compliment." and then give the compliment and at some point ask "are you single" ?

Heck even situational openers are natural for a lot of guys now. "Are you in such and such class" is a zippy quick college opener. She says "no..." You say "because I need yesterday's notes and I'm sure I saw you in class... no??? well I could NEVER forget such a cute smile". I did this as a college freshman, it worked like a charm. Funny thing is, I didn't even know that I was "grounding the opener", I had never read any of Style's "rules of the Game" at the time! In fact, I think that book didn't even exist yet!

*subconscious natural hint - you have to be smiling so she will feel like smiling, have a playful tone when you approach. Then she will ALWAYS smile and you can slip flirty stuff like that in there. Once you have lots of practice and understand the natural alpha male behaviors and internalize them, YOU DON'T NEED TO THINK about your lines, your body language, or your delivery. Canned material becomes irrelevant, you're making up your own much better material as you go along.

Trust me when you have natural game the direct openers work excellent, you are on the way to getting laid my friend. Guys who have learned from 1000's of rejections know this. They no longer even care about DHV or negs or prizeability. They already assume higher value, know how to tease a girl without insulting her, and they already naturally act like a guy who's in charge and desirable. At that point, using direct openers is insanely easy, and you won't care if you mess up once or twice.

It's as ironic as a good speller reading a dictionary to remain good.
