Hey peoples.

I just watched the classic 80s movie "Top Gun" and noticed there are a ton of embedded pickup theory taken from this movie. The concepts of "crash and burn", wingman, and a host of other parts of the game are within. Basically, the lead character played by Tom Cruise scores with a gal that is a PhD in Astrophysics (smart), pretty, and a civilian flight instructor for the top notch pilot school.

Why is this relevant? He rides a badass motorcycle for one. Plus, he is such a player that he gets her chasing him. This is a prime example of "the prize". She is impressed by his skills. Normally, she does not invite students to her house she says in the movie. We can all probably relate to wanting the hot teacher. I thought this was a great movie that proved being arrogant and confident gets you the girl. Check it out if you like. It is definitely one of my favorite movies.

Thats right Chicoman. I've watched it as well. Brilliant film.

You are on the right track but you need to dig a little deeper than his motorcycle. He plays the perfect alpha male. The elevator scene is a perfect example of building sexual tension and anticipation. Good stuff.
