Even though this is a joke.. i think theres a lot we can learn from this..

They did manage to get the attention of girls and got them to stop in order to speak to them... once they got the vibe that these guys are goofy (which they were doing for comedic purposes) they were sort of no thank you..

I couldn't stop myself at answering this and all the rest "they where to needy/rapport whatever" remarks

guys and gals, that was actually a VERY GOOD WAY TO PICK UP WOMEN
no man (or almost no man) has approached them that way, they where funny and original, and you could have seen that some girls really enjoyed their company!!!

they will not be forgotten too, next time if and when they will meet the same girls, they will remember them

so there where a few that looked at them funny, well guess what no matter what way you choose you CAN'T WIN THEM ALL

they where careless, funny and original, plus they showed they've got balls
