It was my second attempt to go out alone. I met a few people and friends I already knew. Anyway I went to the dancefloor, I danced (grinding) with a random girl that just got on me. After that I went make a round on the club to see if there is someone to talk to. I saw one of my friend from work, I talked to him and I met his friends. After that I got approach by few girls because I had a funny/cocky shirts. It was my peacock. But I was unable to have a talk to most of them. I just exchanged a few words with them (jokes about the shirt) but that's it. So basicly I had a lot of chances but I have no freaking idea how to deal it. When I was outside the bar a 3-sets came to me and start talking to me. I had a little chit-chat with them but again, I was unable to pick-up one of them. I always got approach by surprise, like one time when I was waiting for the bathroom a girl passed by and told me "I LOVE YOUU!!" (reffering to my shirt). Seriously is the best peacock I have and I understant it works, but I still need to work on my mid-game. I was so working on my opening that I forgot to work on my others part of the game.

It was still a good night. I laught, I had fun, I learned.

Peacocking is a missing aspect in my game. I can't really find a good peacocking item since the clubs I go to require people to be nicely dressed.

Good job. You got people talking to you without having to go up to them - that's a pretty good feeling, yah?

As far as what you *could* have done, I know it's very hard to think on your feet. Having some canned routines down next time you wear that particular outfit will be helpful. A playful neg to the hottest girl in the approaching set might be enough to get them to stop them instead of giving you a drive-by complement. Use their interest in your outfit as a way to re-introduce yourself to them later when you mingle around the club. Did you mingle or did you just stand there? Sounds like these girls gave you tons of social proof but you didn't take advantage of it to open up other sets.

Next time see if you can turn some of these passing girls into pawns. Get them to allow you to promenade them around the club or escort them to the bar or something so that all the other girls see both your outrageous outfit and also your social popularity with the other girls. It will get you noticed and also make it easier to open sets.

And I think you owe it to everyone to take a picture of your out fit and upload it immediately!
When I was younger I had a whole peacocking wardrobe that consisted of brightly colored or interesting clothes. I wore my hair in weird hairstyles and had funky retro glasses. I tried to get everything about my appearance to be as unique or creative as possible. I think you could wear some normal black slacks, shoes, and a suitcoat with a completely off the wall colorful shirt. If there are cool consignment shops in your area, check the mens section. I went to my local shop today and tried on three (none fit me )
