Hoping this doesn't already exist but I thought of this in my interpersonal relationships class. I give to you all, Puerta theory

In order to get close to everyone, you need to open a door.
This door does not open up to strangers therefore rapport needs to be built.

To open this door there are 2 different keys:
1) Friendship
2) Attraction

Here is how to obtain these keys:
Key 1: In order to seek this key you must build comfort with the individual; this is done by finding similarities / doing things together (some activity to get them to trust you).

Key 2: In order to obtain this key you must focus on finding the differences between you and your target. (this is based on the opposites attract theory);

____________________________________________________________________
If you make it to easy to get to know you, you instantly tell the individual that you want to get to know them on a personal level and it makes you seem easier which kills attraction. It does however help build a strong friendship (LJBF warning)

If you make it difficult to get to know you, you instantly tell the individual that you're focus isnt on getting to know them on a personal level, it also creates sexual tension in the form of mystery.

___________________________________________________________________

In order to create a healthy relationship both keys must be obtained, this is the only way to truly unlock the heart, for with one key you only access the individuals trust, and with the other you only unlock their legs.
____________________________________________________________________

Once you have opened the door with a key (or both) it is important to note that giving attention to that individual becomes important. They've allowed you in, they expect you to be giving them attention.

If they give you attention and you don't return it the effect is as follows:
- They search for a reason as to why you arent giving them attention

If they give you attention and you do return it this is the effect:
- Validation is being given therefore they see no need to seek attention

So it is important not to give too much attention, that way you assure that they always want more from you.

This was the beginning of Dj Viral's Puerta Theory, if you have any comments or questions I'd love to hear them.
