Are your health problems so extensive you can not go to a gym and jog on a treadmill or use a bike? The gym is a great place to not necessarily meet people but at least work on social skills. Being active will change your life- no matter what degree.

Also, you say all you do is watch tv? Cancel your cable. -That should cover your gym cost. I haven't watched tv at home in 4 years and am a better person for it.

Join an art class. A lot of chicks/ people go to those things.

Got any cousins from wherever that might want to hang out? go for a drink?- good excuse to get out of town and enter a new social network.

Take a class that compliments your job? or just a general business class- you cant go wrong with business.

Im 25 still finishing school, work 40-70 hours a week, and commute two and half hours a day. My old friends don't always fit in my schedules hard to meet other ppl on.

Meeting people really has been an effort for me but the process can be just as beneficial as the result.

Make a list of what some else would do.
Then just pick 3 of those things and do it.

Hey

Was this post aimed at me? not sure but thanks anyway!

Yeah I wanna join some classes, most start spetember though so have missed them (I did plan to join them this year but didn't have the guts). I'm gonna see if there are any starting now..

I could use a treadmill but would literally last about a minute before being out of breath (that ain't gonna do me any favours in front of women!)

Thanks again for your reply :)
