How do you responds when a girl texts you shortly after the end of your first date?

What if she says something like "it was great meeting you, I had a great time"

What would be the best response?

I usually take a while to answer... give it like 15, 20 minutes. It shows that at the end of the date, you didnt spend all your time wondering about her... your a busy guy!

When I finally do answer, I make sure its something cocky, funny and will make her smile.

If she texts you with something like "Heyy I had a great time!"
Answer with either an inside joke you had on that date, tease her about an embarrassing moment, or just be cocky!

Once a girl said "It was great meeting you "
I answered "Obviously it is! I bet your feeling the butterflies right now, just dont go falling in love with me! Il break your heart! "
Shel most probably reply something along the lines of: Yaaa right, lol your falling in love with ME!

and there you go, you have a conversation AND you can tease her about it next date.

I hate this "waiting game." Bullshit. Thats right I said it. You have a cell phone. It's in your pocket. It vibrates, you reply. It's that simple. She already hit you up first so there is no need to play games here.

They're not gonna think you're waiting for them to hit you up. They're gonna think you have your phone in your pocket and unless there's some reason you couldn't reply, like you were working or driving, you replied. If you're good with replying to texts from friends, be just as good with the girls you're gunning for.

What's wrong with "yeah, I did too!"

It's true I'm totally against this waiting game stuff. It will backfire on you with a girl that is confident in herself. She'll be thinking "if everything was so great why didn't he call" and then might forget about you or move on. If you are busy or actually don't care to respond so quickly then your golden, but if you really want to call/text back just do it.
I know this from experience by the way.

I agree, the waiting game is a waste. Sometimes I will genuinely be busy or on another date so can't reply right away but when I am free and I get a message I will reply right away.

I always let the girl text/call after a first date. If they get in touch straight after it usually means you did well and they enjoyed your company. Give them a bit of chat then end the conversation. Always leave them wanting more and as David D said 'give them the gift of missing you.'

My usual response to I had a good time is 'Calm yourself, are you outside my window already? I though I smelt your snatch.'
I get off with this crudeness a lot as it is kind of my personality.

On one date I ended up talking about mission impossible I saw on youporn. Did it put her off? Hell no, I was still tongue deep a half hour later. As long as you are congruent with what you say and how you act you can get off with doing or saying anything.
