Ok, so I would like to know some general guidelines on wether it is a good idea to pay for your date or not. There is that old ideal that a guy should pay for everything, but that a bunch of bull.

For example, if I were to take an HB to get coffee, food or whatever, should I pay?
I forgot where I heard this, but it is the only guideline I have read in this matter...

"Never to pay for something until after F-closing the HB". Which seems a bit to much to me.

I know never to buy gifts of shit like that. Unless its a routine where you give her something irrelevant, like a sugar packet or something

But, I guess the main question is. When should a guy spend their own money on a date or a potential partner?

If it's not crazy expensive then i would recommend you paying, if you're just getting to know the girl take her to a coffee place, that should only be a few dollars
