So I work part-time at a pasta/salad place on campus at my university. And I run into this girl, asian, while I cook her pasta. Usually, I give a hi, they give a hi, and that's it. I'm an korean attractive guy (to break any modesty), and so she starts talking, telling me she works as a waitress. I neg her by asking before if she works at starbucks. (since her clothes were all black)

then she tells me i should come by her restaurant sometime (she just got the job). and then tells me the address. She tells me her name, I tell her mine. Didn't get any numbers (was making pasta, with greasy gloves, etc, no paper no nothing).

So, I went to the restaurant early the next day, and befriended the manager. Told him to give her a note I wrote that said: "come eat with me (xxx xxx xxxx) (my number)"

and that's it. The manager asked if I liked her, and i told him yes, and he smiled and I could tell he was going to give it to her. Anyways, if she calls, i'm planning on saying that I have some close buddies of mine who bailed out on me for eating vietnamese food cuz it smells bad, and since she works at a vietnamese place as a waitress, i figured...

anyways, was that a good move of me? beforehand, with the note. (didn't put my name or anything) just that phrase and number.
