And i was wondering what was the best way to transition from texting to taking on the phone? I know realize some will just say to call them but in my social community this is an awkward thing, to just call. so if anyone has some good pointers or anything that would be great! thanks!

Try using confusing, and or ambiguous and strange comments. Say open ended things that leaves them wondering, "what was that supposed to mean?". Such so that they have to call you to figure out what you mean.
example:
hb- Are you going to the bar tonight?
you- Only if you bring you bag of tricks!
hb- what?
you- your lucky charms !
hb- are you going or not?
you- no answer...
hb- calls to ask in person.
this is effective if she is trying to get need to know info from you, It dose not work if she could care less. But it is a good bait to make you hb call in person.

What social community do you live in where it's awkward to call someone?
