Hey guys. I randomly messaged a girl on Facebook.

The subject line read: SUPERSERIOUS QUESTION!!!

and in the message i wrote: Why are we not facebook friends yet???


she responded with "because I don't know who you are..."



i figured theres some success to this opener because she could have very well ignored the message altogether.

Now i'm just wondering where to take it from here.

Personally, I'd go for cocky/funny and DHV by saying something along the lines of...

every AFC will poke a girl, because he doesnt have the balls to talk to her. unless your doing it for a specific reason after initiating conversation she has no reason to reply. just find a witty, funny opener that works.

I have to 2nd that poking is a losing strategy. I'm happy for you Buz that it worked for you. But I don't think it's a good strategy.

The original posters message works fairly well I must say. Sent out 10 random ones to girls on facebook and got 7 replies. Now getting them to a positive and hooked is the challenge since most ask who you are.
