i've realized that i've only talked to this girl im hooking up with twice on the phone(one of the times i was slightly drunk, didn't go over too well), the rest of the times have been while texting.

i'm guessing i should call her soon just because i feel like texting is getting a little routine and boring at times. The question i have is will this weird her out? im thinking of just texting her tonight asking if shes free and if she says yes ill just call her and say i was getting bored of texting. the other thing im worried about is awkward silences etc. but i think ill be alright. When we hang out and i feel like i don't know what to say, i usually just go in for a kiss. The problem is i cant do this over the phone .

I would caution against texting and saying "are you free?" or "can I call you?", it takes all the spontaneity out of the mix. Either straight up give her a call, or text and if that goes well give her a call tomorrow.

it sucks cause im on holiday break but i barely have time to talk to her.

she flaked last week though so i dont really think its a big deal.

most likely not a big deal. But make sure when you do call get her attention and make her miss you.
