me: Engineering Science. It's hard, but I am putting effort (I guess lol). All I think about is getting my degree and then get a good job behind a desk in an office.
I was actually planning to go to Graphic Design at Y, but then I decided that X would be better..

her: oh i c ya i was going to get into graphic art but im not so good with the computer programs required. haha i actually dont use msn.

me: I used to work with Photoshop a lot, and loved 3D modeling but then I gave up on the idea since it's hard to find a good job for that nowadays unless you are really really good at it. So you must be a good drawer, you know how to draw 3D objects with shading and all that?
The only art I do now is at the back of my binder at lectures lol :p

her: ahha yes in suppose i can draw with shading and everything too.

I know these convo's from back in the days'. She seems all nice, but you have to take some things in account.

It's good you told her about 3D modeling and photoshop. You where building a connection and WHAP you threw it all away by saying your not good enough.

Working at a desk? I mean... hope you where being funny. There's nothing wrong with it but she is a:

Artistic dropout who prolly hates society since... she's a dropout and failure of the system. Offices = people who LOOOVE society. So no connection building there.

You should have said you started doing photoshop art and 3D modeling but kept that as a hobby since you ENJOY it so much, and dont want to spill it as a hobby.
