I think the best default opener i've used is

"hi...you guys seem like you could be fun"

That's still my default opener when I can't use something situational that's spontanous enough or aren't in state enough yet to pull out the "you're cute" yet.

I think it's good because it establishes a favorable idenity for them to live up to with you from the 1st moment of meeting. Subing "cool" for fun also works pretty well on mixed sets. No one wants to be non-fun, or non-cool really IMO. I've still been blown out using it but even then you can either plow with "so your not fun" and if you tease it right it can still work. Or you could say "so your not fun" and walk away as if that's the reason, which allows you to leave more on your own terms I've found.

Lot of girls will ask "why you say that", just respond "I might tell later, but lets see if you are first" and leave it at that. Open loops drive chicks crazy in my expereince.

How about something like (and this is for a single person obviously) "Hi, I noticed you from across the room and I just had to come over. Someone as enchanting as you has no business sitting in a bar looking lonely, my name is - it's nice to meet you" I'm sort of going for the fun romantic natural sort of game, I think I could make something like this work.

If there is EVER a lone wolf, and she is at least a 7, trust me she will not be lonely for long. I've only seen two or three noticable lone wolf 7+'s, and that's about it. Usually because they are meat to sharks and they get a dude there quick. I've seen quite a few 5's, many older mid thirty type of women out cougaring, and even those have dudes by the end of the night. Takes them a little longer.

I've only hit on one lone wolf and she was an 8, & the only way even I knew was cause I kept noticing a a steady line of dudes rolling into the spot at the bar beside of her.
