just joined. complete amateur. would love to learn. could you tell me how this is for an opening line.

You don't really want to be talking about a subject that implies you might not be 100% straight, you want to give off this alpha male personna and talking about whether or not you are totally straight will not do you any favours. Basically DON'T EVER USE THAT LINE AGAIN!

My personal opinion is that a funny opener works best, heres a little example of an opener i like to use alot:

''Are you girls shy? I've been standing here talking to my friend for like 5 minutes now and you still haven't offered to buy me a drink''.
