Basically, according to Braddock of Love Systems, there are 3 types of attraction:

1. State-based: powerful and immediate, but often "easy come easy go"
2. Intrigue-based: deeper and equally powerful, usually more permanent
3. Warm and Fuzzy: showing your softer side
