Me: Do you think this shirt makes me look gay?

Her: Not really, No, What?, Why do you ask.

Me: Because some random girl came up to me in the halls and said it made me look gay. I was like "It does?". She goes "yah", and then just walked away. I think she liked me or something, or maybe it really does look gay.

Then she could say a lot of different things which would hopefully lead into a conversation.

What do you guys think about it?

When that girl came up to you, you should have been like this:

You don't really think it's gay, you like it, that's why you came up to me.

It's Mystery's technique, when people come up to him and say they hate his peacocking, but really they don't.

if you ask her that, you migh look homaphobic and a bit old fashion alpha male but I often get asked by women if im gay for wearing flowery shirts and yes it quite a good way to start a conversation and easy way to lea it to "should we see if im gay?" "do you want to tesst if im gay?" question

Oh yeah and you could do the "I'd be so into you if I weren't gay" routine.

Look, if somebody asked me something like that, I would go: "So what if you were gay?"

That opener shows insecurity, big time. It describes you as someone who cares what others think and who seeks approval.
It also hints that maybe you think of being gay as something bad. This isn't as important, but again, homophobia is an expression of incomplete personality.

my rule is never explain myself, and it seems like you would be setting yourself up for an explanation. it also sounds like it shows alot of insecurity. it reminded me of that episode of the PUA where cosmo says to the girls "do you think im funny" or something like that

Judging from the response, it's a good thing I haven't used it yet lol. Now that I think about it more, it does show insecurity. I guess it's back to the drawing board...
