I've found myself in something of a predicament.

There's a girl i like, who i've opened, hit her wit neg's, used cocky and funny and as a result have noticed IOI's. However, being new to the "game" i never actually got to number-close let alone kiss-close.
The thing is, her number is available on her facebook profile, and i've decided that i could just obtain her number from there and text or message her for a date.
Is this a good idea, or shud i just do it in person?

(It's winter break now so i wud only be able to do it in person when i get back to uni in january)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and any openers when i txt her to remove the awkwardness of the approach would be helpful

You should really do it in person, you dont want to make it seem like you're really that interested.

no no dont do it on facebook. she will think thats a little weird to text her outa the blue when its up there and that wont look to good mate. i suggest you do it in person, when u see her casual ask her to just go hang, if she cant when u ask her (ask her when you think she might) then say "ah well next time just text me when you wanna go shopping (example). oh hey before you go (turn her to face you) lemme check if you got my number (put it in the phone)" when its in the phone just call it on her phone to call yours, therefor you will have hers. even show her your doing this and you could possible just say "oh wow i dont even have yours! im a bad friend ha ha il just save it now i guess" some say this wont work, iv done it plenty of times. if you are personable and freindly and no how to game decently enough to not give it away, she will text you. if she doesnt just wait a day or 2 and give her a call askin to hang out sometime, and talk for maybe 10 min or so, so she keeps u in mind.

there is another way

you could ask for her number through facebook. just start a convo on there, any question will do there is a number of questions, but lead it back to when you guys will be back at Uni together. say at the end "well we should hang out your kinda fun to talk to haha " anything along those lines then simple just ask for her number

people tend to think directly askin wont work, but it will deffinitly work when there is comfort built, so dont be afraid to just talk to her about daily things, nothing boring keep it simple and fun. then ask in any way you feel like it, indirect or not its highly unlikely she will say no
