I think you possibly have been too direct for a social networking thing, though Myspace has less respectability than Facebook.

Be careful about expressing any specific attractive quality. It can come across as kind of creepy and fetish-like. I like oriental and asian girls too so I know where you are coming from. My experience is that these girls/women are very wary of being treated like a Thai-bride-for-sale sort of thing.

me being asian, i find it insulting you would call them chinese, you shouldnt generalize like that. and you messaged her friend, what do you expect? do you expect hte ugly one to hook you up with her? dude come on.

If these girls are even just barely hot in any way, they are going to be getting tons of emails from regular afc's all day long and every day. Which means that in order to attract them you need to first stand out from the crowd.

One of the easiest things you can do is msg them with a subject line/heading that is more unique. Most men send the same crap, things like: "hey","hey you", HEY, "hey there", "hey there Cutie", hi, hello, etc....... It goes on and on, and about 90% of guys use these lines to try to get something started in online pick-up.

All you need to do is say something different than that, and your at least going to be seen, then it's going to come down the content of your msg. Dont mention looks; in your msg to her you said you thought she was cute, instead of mentioning looks, go over her profile and comment on something about her character, or her hobbies.

The main goal of the first msg is to challenge her to write you back, and give her something that would want her to msg back, from there on just have a nice chat, and eventually suggest using myspace IM, then let the interaction flow.
