I was watching an internet video of an asshole police officer tonight. He told an innocent 20 year old man that he needed to "cut the attitude" when the 20 year old started talking back or said something he didnt like. while i was in the middle of the video an HB8 i know called me and started asking why i didnt go with her to blah blah blah. she started a mini rant which wasnt bitchy at all and i say "listen, you dont need to give me attitude, ok" and it worked well as a DHV, she apologized for being a bitch when she wasnt being bitchy at all, and she said "well do you promise to hang out with me next time" i paused for a moment while i thought and said "maybe".


what do you guys think of the "dont give me attitude" DHV/bitch shield?

Its a great way to come off as a good guy and make her feel like she's being a bitch. It totally helps drop them down a couple notches. Just make sure you are really nice about telling her not to give you attitude, otherwise, you come off as the jerk.

when you do hang out give her a time constraint like you can only hang out for an hour or two because you have "important things to do later". if she's interested and has fun then she'll be competing to get more of your time away from these "more important things"
