Ok. So for the past week iv been watching and reading all about this PUA and game stuff, and i thought it was amazing that somebody could walk up to a random girl in the street and get success. I had planned to give it ago but i thought that when it came down to it i would bitch out and not do it.

So last night, Its about 6pm and im on the bus to a friends house to have a little party with the boys. this hot as hell little blonde girl gets on the bus and sits near the front, i thought damn, i wish i could do like the pua guys on the videos and get her number. Anyways, we get off in town at the same stop.. I walked on my way and she crossed over about 10 feet infront of me. I couldnt control myself, all my nerves vanished and before i realised what I was doing i had ran up beside her and put my hand on her back. she looked at me and smiled and took out her earfones and said "yes?" in the cutest of voices. I said "hi, you are going to come and talk with me for a bit" I take her by the arm and walked her in the opposite direction of where she was going and went down the road toward my friends house.. The convo pretty much went like this:

Me: You are really cute and there is no way i was gonna let you walk on without talking with you. *said with a cheeky smile*

Girl: Oh ok.

Me: im Dan by the way, whats your name? *hold out hand for shake*

Girl: im *****

Me: So where WERE you going? What are you up to tonight?

Girl: just to a friends, gonna have a little smoke

Me: Smoke? oh no, you dont do that do you? Thats terrible

Girl: I know....*i jump in*

Me: Im actaully going to be smoking tonight too, only a little bit though, I would invite you round but i know what you girls are like when you smoke weed, you get all horny and annoying.

Girl: haha we do not

Me: so is your boyfriend going to be there?

Girl: I dont have a boyfriend

Me: What?!? how? why?

Girl: what do you mean?

Me: you know exactly what i mean, look at you, you are a little stunner

Girl: *blushes*

By now we are at my friends front door...

Me: Listen, this is me right here.. give me your number and maybe a bit later ill call you up, see if you and your friend want to join the party.

Girl, ok its ************

Me: Well thanks for walking me here, im going in now, been nice talking to you.

I give her a little kiss on the cheek and squeeze her arm, she looks around and smiles as she walks away and i go into the house.

I never called her back, and i dont know if i will, i think i might just practice this for a while and keep my options open.

Did I do things right, and is this a good outcome for a first timer?? It would be great to hear of other peoples first times. Do you guys think i have what it takes to be a Pick up artist? Im pretty good with women generally, but i usually get to know them through others rather than meeting randoms i dont know.
Also, i only saved the number and not her name.. and iv forgotten it lol, what the hell do i do in this situation???

I'd say she might be pretty insecure to be into you when you showered her with so many compliments!

I would have been a little meaner, a little more teasing and a little more cheeky. Afterall, if you tell her how amazing she is she immediately thinks she can have you anytime. And where's the fun in that for her? This is the reason girls often go for the guy who is semi-rude to them.

Giving compliments is a good way to earn affection quickly but it is often short-lived. Especially if she is then approached by a guy who plays it mean.

I know this from personal experiance. I've f-closed a girl before by being nice after she'd just had a break-up from a boyfriend who was an absolute arse to her (and I by no means advocate being a douche to girls long-term.) Then, a few days later, she asked to come over. I said yeah. An hour later, she cancelled saying she "was in a difficult situation." Turns out, the douche called her and persuaded her it was her fault they broke up - she took him back.

Hard lesson learned.

But congrats on a succesful first approach. If you her again, play it a bit more like she needs to earn you and you should be in!

I wasnt that complimentative was i? I thought i played it pretty even, i did tease her and mock her about her smoking bud, but i thought you only gave negs if she isnt showing many indicators of interest? She was showing PLENTY of interest with body language and eye contact, so i didnt think negs were needed. Should i do negs anyway?
I know i could have done it better, but it was so random, i didnt even know what to say when i aproached her.. i have no openers planned or anything, not even little stories or games to make her laugh. And it all took place in like 90 seconds. I hear what you are saying though man, thanks for the feedback

Yeah man I think you did pretty well. I really liked the way you opened it. "You're so cute I had to talk to you"...immediately puts a smile on her face, and puts her at ease.

But maybe a little more teasing would have worked better.

Also, I prefer pickups without using canned openers. It feels like you are being more yourself, rather than whoever made them up. Of course, it is useful to memorise some opening lines and questions but after that I'm a firm believer that you're on your own. Naturally there are certain styles of chatting which you can copy but just regurgitating material sounds fake. Also, the community is getting so big - so many people have read The Game now - that she might well have heard many of the lines before!

Yeah i read that vh1 did a whole fucking series about PUA's, what a way to spoil it and give the game away. But i suppose without selling out, you nor me would be doing it right?
